Bathroom Remodeling | Bathtub or Standing Shower?
Bathroom Remodeling | There are many questions that you are going to answer during the bathroom renovation process. One of the main questions being should you install a tub or a standing shower? So how do you go about choosing which is best for you, your family and your home?
Most importantly, it depends on where in your home the bathroom is located and what it will most often be used for. If the bathroom is for a master bedroom or children’s bathroom, the best choice is often to install a new bath and shower combination. However, if the bathroom is in the basement, a guest bathroom or a powder room renovation, then a simple shower replace or addition is appropriate.
One of the many concerns to have when you are redoing your bathroom is the resale value of your home. Even if moving is not in your foreseeable future, it is important to consider how your renovation will affect your resale value if you do choose to move. A bathtub has come to be an expected feature in many master bathrooms and en suites – not having this feature in your home could hurt your ability to sell in the future.
Over everything though, it is important to consider your own wants and needs. After all, this is your home, and it is important that you are comfortable and enjoy your renovation. – Tiger Bath
